A Moroccan company will build the grand new train station of Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast. The train station is set to become the city's eye-catching landmark.
According to the Moroccan news outlet hespress.com, the new station is estimated to cost $92.7 million. The new station will feature several shops, recreational facilities and a hotel.
According to the North African Post, selecting a Moroccan building company to create the new station would not be a surprising decision. Morocco is the largest investor in Ivory Coast, even larger than France. Moroccan companies accounted for 22% of all companies operating in Côte d’Ivoire followed by French counterparts (16%).
