New Africa Investment Forum (AIF) to pave the way for growth

The African Development Bank (AfDB) is to launch the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), a meeting place for investors interested in Africa. The AIF will attract international business and social impact investors looking to transact and deploy funds in Africa, connecting investors with both public and private sector projects

The new institute is set up to bring together information about bankable projects. It will help attract financing, and provide platforms for investing across multiple countries.

The Form is also set up to offer authoritative and robust, business intelligence and analytical work on African's competitiveness. AllAfrica reports the Forum will make it possible to crowd in investments to garner the huge financing required in critical areas, with the private sector playing a crucial role," he underscored.
