The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has just opened its third Radisson Blu Hotel in Nigeria. With six others currently under development. Nigeria is the key country in the group’s expansion plans on the African continent.
The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group now has a portfolio of 85 hotels and over 17,800 rooms in operation and under development in Africa.
The new hotel in Nigeria is Radisson Blu Hotel Lagos, Ikeja. It is the second hotel of the group in this state. There is a Radisson Blu under development in Abuja and one in Port Harcourt.
Ventures Africa reports that Radisson Blu signed its first deal in Nigeria in 2006. Today, it has three hotels open - with 1,755 rooms - and six under development. The other six will be opened over the next four to five years.
Radisson Blu Hotel Lagos, Ikeja is a 155-room hotel and it offers a choice of contemporary standard and business class rooms and a range of ultra-stylish one, two and three-bedroom loft suites.
