Southern Africa aims to train new entrepreneurs

A new pan-African entrepreneur training platform has been launched to educate and shape a new generation of entrepreneurs in the South African region. The initiative of TechTribe Accelerator (TTA) was recently launched at the SA Innovation Summit.

The new TTA training platform aims to offer online training to thousands of African entrepreneurs from across SADC (South African Development Community). The first intake will focus on ventures from Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia, ITNewsAfrica reports.

According to TTA, at least 100 ventures will join the 7-month acceleration cohort in January 2020. The top 30 will be awarded virtual mentorship by regional experts.
