Tesla launches stations for electric car in China | Biz weekly

The popular and exclusive electric vehicle brand Tesla is preparing for a roll-out of free charging stations, to help support long-distance driving of its electric cars in China. The construction of those charging stations will begin soon. Tesla has negotiated with various parties about this project, including property owners and electric service providers. 

In August 2013, Tesla opened a retail outlet in Beijing. The company will start sales of its Model S in China from the first quarter of 2014. On Tesla’s China website, consumers can order products like Model S and Model X. Tesla has not yet released the full retail prices for these products in China.
