WeHotel enters the hotel booking market

A new Chinese online hotel booking platform, WeHotel, is ready to compete with the likes of Booking.com. WeHotel offers 1 million rooms from over 10,000 hotels in more than 120 countries. 

The new hotel booking platform is launched by Chinese Shanghai-based hospitality giant Jinjiang International. This state-owned enterprise has recently acquired Radisson hotels and is now the second biggest hotel group in the world, following Marriott International. 

Shanghai Daily reports that the new hotel booking platform covers a variety of types of accommodation from cheap hostels to five-star luxury hotels. The new platform aims to develop cross-border businesses and to innovate hotel industry business with intelligent internet technologies.
