Journalist Andrea Dijkstra and photographer Jeroen van Loon are crossing Africa by car since June 2011. They are fascinated by this quickly changing continent and enjoy covering stories of creative African entrepreneurs, smart technological inventions and the effects of these booming economies on the lives of ordinary Africans.
So far, they have reported already about countries like Kenya, Uganda, Eastern-Congo, South Sudan and Rwanda. Currently they are visiting Southern Africa and will write about developments in Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. They also have plans to travel back north via no less intriguing Western Africa to cover all kinds of stories and to get in touch with people all over the continent.
