Do’s and don’ts for business travellersWhen traveling to China for business, do bring several copies of all documents for your meetings. And if you bring gifts, avoid clocks, as they are associated with death. And in Italy, do not exchange business cards at social occasions, though it is the norm at business functions and meetings.

Inc.com has published an extremely useful info graphic that covers the do’s and don'ts for business travellers in several important business destinations in the world. Did you know that in some countries slightly informal business etiquette may be common, but that in Italy dressing well is a sign of success? „Men should wear fashionable, high-quality suits. Shirts may be coloured or pin-striped, and they should be paired with an Italian-design tie. Women dress in quiet, expensive elegance.”

One more pointer for anyone going to Argentina: don’t ever sit down before your host.
