Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, a well-known business hotel in the center of Vancouver, Canada, has completed a five-year $75 million renovation project. The hotel boasts newly designed floors that offer Fairmont Gold, the ‘hotel in a hotel’ concept with a private lounge and concierge service.

The hotel, known as the ‘Castle in the City’, with its chateau-style green-clad copper roof and gargoyles, is an architectural landmark in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. The registered heritage property operating since 1939, has invested in its future by focusing on quality and service. On floors 9 and 14, the landmark hotel shows its new ‘Fairmont Gold’ face, that includes three-bedroom suites featuring a living room, kitchen and dining room that can seat up to 10 guests.

Hotel Management reports that the renovated hotel now showcases 557 new guest rooms. Another interesting feature is the Notch8 Restaurant & Bar. With a luxurious and contemporary design inspired by the romance of travel in the 1930’s, the restaurant & bar brings a new era of glamour to the lobby of Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
