Seven must-have luxuries in upscale hotels

What are the seven luxuries that every hotel should have to compete in today’s business hotel industry? Business week listed the seven must-have items.

This fundamental list of luxuries for every upscale hotel was inspired by a visit to Manhattan’s newest top hotel, the Park Hyatt New York. With rates of about $900, this hotel sets a new standard, the report say.

The seven luxuries list includes a few items that the report describes as “the bare minimums luxury hoteliers must offer”, like the ‘his and her sinks’, the double vanity that should fit in any top class hotel – space is a luxury too!

Other items on the list: an enormous bath tub, a TV in the bathroom, a walk-in shower, a gadget charger/control center, cohesive design and a separate toilet.
