China's postal industry is booming. In the first three quarters of 2019, the post business revenue grew 21.3-percent year on year to reach $ 97.79 billion. A large portion of growth came from the express delivery sector.
Xinhuanet.com reports that in nine months, courier firm employees delivered 43.91 billion letters and packages, up 26.4 percent year on year. Business revenue of courier firms jumped 24.1 percent year on year.
In the first three quarters, the average price per unit of express delivery further dropped slightly, while service quality continued to improve.
