KLM Wins Best European Airline Award

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently won the Best European Airline award during the 8th TTG China Travel Awards in Shanghai. This award recognises service levels, the vast number of flights between China and Europe, the professional sales and marketing team, and the strong partnerships established with travel agencies.

General Manager Air France-KLM Greater China, Bas Gerressen: "China is an important market for KLM. We're very proud that KLM was named the Best European Airline. KLM continues to launch new and improved products and services, including World Business Class with full-flat seats and service for our Chinese customers. With the new social media service via WeChat and Sina Weibo, KLM can now offer its Chinese passengers even more service options."

The TTG China Travel Awards is one of the most prestigious travel award platforms within China's travel and tourism industry. The awards are issued on the basis of votes garnered from travel agents, tour operators and the readers of all TTG publications.

Air France and KLM will this summer operate 88 weekly flights linking their hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol to nine destinations in Greater China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Taipei.

Mr. Diederik Scheepstra, Air France KLM Regional Manager, Shanghai & Eastern China took part in the ceremony in Shanghai and received the award.
