InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland – underground luxury

This autumn, Shanghai will experience the long-awaited opening of its first (partly) underground hotel. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland has 18 floors, of which two floors are above ground, and 16 below.

The new hotel will offer its guests an amazing experience in a deep pit of a former quarry in southwestern Shanghai. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland has 336 rooms and suites that all have balconies where guests can enjoy a spectacular view of waterfalls from the surrounding cliffs.

The hotel is 30 kilometer from Hongqiao Airport and close to attractions like Sheshan National Park and Chenshan Botanic Gardens. Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland features 337 luxury guest rooms and suites with panoramic views of Shenkeng Quarry.
