Delta named No. 1 airline with best staff in North America, according to Skytrax survey
For the third year in a row, Delta has been named the Best Airline in North America at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. Delta also earned the top spot for Best Airline Staff Service in North America for the second consecutive year.
“At Delta, we take great pride in our products, our global network, and our world-class service,” said Joseph Young, Delta’s GM of EMEAI from the award ceremony at the Paris Air Show. “But at the end of the day, it’s our people that set us apart. I’m honored to accept these awards on behalf of our 90,000 Delta employees around the globe.”
Millions of airline customers representing more than 100 nationalities participated in the Skytrax survey to determine this year’s winners. Delta’s double recognition is a testament to the team’s hard work and focus on delivering outstanding customer service as the airline has risen to meet an unprecedented amount of demand.
The two Skytrax awards are the latest of many recent honors that Delta has received. Delta is America’s most-awarded airline, has been recognized by Cirium for operational excellence, as the top U.S. airline by the Wall Street Journal, among Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, the World’s Most Admired Airline according to Fortune, and more.
