Abu Dhabi Yas Island: hotel on top of a racetrack

When in Abu Dhabi, one can stay at a regular business hotel or go for a great alternative, such as the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island: a hotel built on top of the famous Yas racetrack.

The new W Hotels property is the second hotel of this brand in the United Arab Emirates; earlier in 2019, the W Dubai – The Palm opened. The W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island is located in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s entertainment epicenter. According to Travel Daily Media, the new hotel is the only hotel in the world located atop a Grand Prix racetrack.

The new W Hotel has 499 guest rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular views of the racetrack or marina. In the F&B department, the hotel features seven unique restaurants and bars.

It is located just 15-minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport at the doorstep of the famed Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Marina. The hotel is also close to Ferrari World, Warner Brothers Studios and Abu Dhabi’s biggest shopping centre, the Yas Mall.
