In this digital age, a hotel that offer business travellers the services of a book club definitely stands out. London’s Marriott County Hall has officially launched its book club, offering real, paper books - not even ebooks. 

According to hotel management, the classic Library of the hotel offers the perfect setting for the club, “the ideal way to enhance our Afternoon Tea offer for guests”.

The Marriott County Hall hotel invites guests to pick up a book for a casual read (this month’s recommended read: ‘The Great Gatsby’ by F. Scott Fitzgerald) and even take a complimentary copy home with them. The Book Club also aims to host author events, including book signings and readings and have partnered with some top authors. The hotel plans to invite celebrated authors to entertain guests at the Library.

The London Marriott Hotel County Hall Library is located on London’s South Bank, with a lovely view of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the River Thames. A great place to lose yourself in the latest best seller.
