Take the Fairmont dog for a walk

Imagine yourself on a business trip. Obviously you miss your family, but you also miss the early morning and evening walk with your dog. If you stay at the Fairmont hotel in Pittsburgh (US), the concierge can fix that. He we will call Edie, the dog that is employed by the Fairmont.

Edie is an all white boxer-lab mix that was rescued from a Cincinnati shelter and now works at the Fairmont as a Canine Ambassador. Edie’s job is to be taken for a walk by hotel guests.

“If you're a hotel guest you can sign Edie out and walk around the city with her, so she loves doing that”, says the hotel’s PR Manager Julie Abramovic. Edie lives with Abramovic and comes to work with her every day.
