Ten must-packs, according to experienced travellers

Ask seasoned and well-organised travellers what they bring on business trips and you get a list of ten items. Quora, the knowledge sharing network compiled the list that may hold some surprises to many.

The experienced travellers packing list, as published on Inc., features a universal power plug adapter. You simply need it to power your equipment. Don’t count on hotels offering them. Next item: books. Not physical books, but books on laptops and smartphones. Other ‘must-packs’: snacks (you may get hungry), perfume or cologne, in case you need to attend a meeting shortly after arrival. Pack a waterproof watch to keep track of time in case your phone runs out of batteries.

Other items: yoga pants or long comfortable pants, to wear on long flights and to double as your pyjama pants. A pack of tissues, swimming pants (or a swimsuit) for relaxing in the hotel pool. And at least one ‘going out’ outfit in case you need to attend a festive event. And finally: floss, as you will probably eat out often with other people. And a pair of cheap but effective sunglasses.
