Work as if you're in your office – also on board your KLM flight!

Do you dread the moment that you have to turn off all electronic equipment before take-off? Then we have some news for you.

KLM WiFi on board the 777-300

As of May 29th KLM introduced Wi-Fi on board, starting with only one Boeing 777-300 aircraft.

As this is a part of a pilot program, the WiFi is not avalible on all KLM flight. The first destinations on which flights you can use the WiFi on board are: Bangkok, Sao Paulo, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur/Jakarta, Lima, Panama City, Singapore/Denpasar, Taipei/Manila or Quito/Guayaquil. We aim to keep you stay connected throughout most of your flight.

Air France will also run this pilot program. WiFi will be on board on only one Boeing 777-300 aircraft.

You will regonize if your aircraft is equipped with Wi-Fi by the ‘Wi-Fi on board’ signs. Your flight attendant will be able to inform. For additional information there will be an instruction card in the pocket of the seat in front of you.

As for flight safety maners, we will still ask you to switch off your beloved device like usual, but now it will only be for a little while!

Free Services and Paid Internet

You can go online with any mobile device as soon as your aircraft has reached an altitude of 6 km (20,000 feet).

When online you’ll have free access to information about weather, news, online magazines and several destinations. Besides that there are links to handy services such as car rental options.

For a small fee you can access the entire internet. Per hour the costs will be EUR 10.95. For the entire flight you will pay EUR 19.95. For so far payment can only be done by credit card.

Of course we very much appreciate your opinion of our new Wi-Fi service, so you will find a short questionnaire when accessing our portal on board.
