Airbus has broken its own commercial aircraft delivery records. In 2019, the aircraft manufacturer delivered 863 commercial aircraft to 99 customers, which is 8 percent more than the deliveries in the previous record year of 2018.

Airbus’ overall historical cumulative net orders passed the 20,000 mark in 2019.

Airbus managed to increase its yearly production for the 17th year in a row. The company delivered 642 A320 aircraft last year, up from 626 in 2018. Also, it delivered 48 A220 planes, 53 A330s and 112 aircraft from the A350 family.

BreakingTravelNews reports that there was a small decline in the number of A380s delivered, with eight rolling off production lines last year, down from 12 in 2018.
