Autograph Collection hotels land in Paris: Banke Hotel

The Autograph Collection now features a new hotel in Paris. The Hotel Banke is the first Paris hotel of the brand of stylish boutique hotels that was launched by Marriott.

According to BusinessTraveller, Marriott recently wants to open a total of 12 Autograph Collection hotels throughout Europe. New additions are The Shelbourne in Dublin and Hotel Querencia de Seville.

The new five-star Hotel Banke has a stylish Belle Epoque façade and is located on the corner of Rue La Fayette and Rue Pillet, close to the Opéra.

The property used to be the headquarters of the Credit Commercial de France bank. Today, the building features 91 rooms and suites, a fitness centre, and six meeting spaces including the Salle des Coffres. This room still houses 460 of the former bank’s vaults.

As for fine dining, the hotel boasts a French-Indochina restaurant – The Josefin. Le Bar is the hotel’s fashionable cocktail venue.
